The Secret Of Psalms

In this book, Miss Delia Bacon, no relation to Francis, claimed that the works of Shakespeare werewritten by a secret cabal of British nobility including Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Philip Sidney aswell as Sir Francis Bacon.

The Secret Of Psalms

Employing a large team of secretaries and stenographers, Owen claimed to have uncovered a completealternative history of Elizabethan England, as well as several entirely new Shakespeare plays andsonnets.

Psalm 91 is the 91st psalm of the Book of Psalms, beginning in English in the King James Version: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." In Latin, it is known as 'Qui habitat".[2] As a psalm of protection, it is commonly invoked in times of hardship. Though no author is mentioned in the Hebrew text of this psalm, Jewish tradition ascribes it to Moses, with David compiling it in his Book of Psalms. The Septuagint translation attributes it to David.

The Midrash states that Psalm 91 was composed by Moses on the day he completed the building of the Tabernacle in the desert. The verses describe Moses' own experience entering the Tabernacle: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty". [5] Midrash Tehillim and Zohar teach that Moses composed this psalm while ascending into the cloud hovering over Mount Sinai, at which time he recited these words as protection from the angels of destruction.[6]

Truly this is the only place God meets His children and reveal His secret to them. Jesus always leaves His disciples to a secret place just to be with the father, even before choosing the twelve He was with the father throughout the night for direction, even to choose Judas, though He knew he will betray him.

This is so inspiring and encouraging, this is so deep, to really see what it mean to dwell in the secret place of the most high. Lord please help me to live my daily in your secret place where I can be protected and be at peace. Thanks for sharing this very thoughtful message. God bless you abundantly

This mean that the outsiders will stay outside dreaming of that secret dwelling place .And the insider will be enjoying all the preveliges provided by the most high.Ok just to cut it short, this is my point.

The secret place is located deep within us. it is derived from the spiritual heart. The secret place is the only place that we can truly connect with the Father. Plasm 91 is not a prayer. It is a conformation from the Father that those of us who confirm him every day shall receive the benefits of the proverb. Those who have lived a life of saying his name from within, every day, because we truly believe. The Father knows but waits. He waits to hear from all of us.The Christ told us! Search and you will find. Ask of the Father and it shall be given to you. Knock on the door of the Father and it shall be opened unto you! God Bless

I came looking for clarity to the meaning of this verse and I thank you for the thorough breakdown. I also think the secret place is referring to our mind, thoughts and whats in our hearts as those things are typically secret to others.

For us,that secret place is anywhere we hear God speaking. Does he speak to youthrough reading the Bible, attending church services, prayer, Holy Spiritimpressions and leadings, nature, or time spent in healthy community?

I will say of the Lord Or to the Lord F16: these are the words of the psalmist, expressing his faith in the Lord in the following words, taking encouragement from the safety of the godly man above described: the Septuagint, Vulgate Latin, and all the Oriental versions, read, he shall say to the Lord; that is, the man that dwells in the secret place, and under the shadow of the Lord: the Targum is,

2. "For, lo, sinners have bent the bow, they have prepared their arrows in the quiver, that they may in the obscure moon shoot at the upright in heart" (ver. 2). These be the terrors of those who threaten us as touching sinners, that we may pass over to them as the righteous. "Lo," they say, "the sinners have bent the bow:" the Scriptures, I suppose, by carnal interpretation of which they emit envenomed sentencesfrom them. "They have prepared their arrows in the quiver:" the same words, that is, which they will shoot out on the authority of Scripture, they have prepared in the secret place of the heart. "That they may in the obscure moon shoot at the upright in heart:" that when they see, from the Church's light being obscured by the multitude of the unlearned and the carnal, that they cannot be convicted, they may corrupt good manners by evil communications. But against all these terrors we must say, "In the Lord I trust." 2ff7e9595c
